GHG emissions

Our 2022 GHG emissions represent a 3,2% reduction vs. year 2019, the first year of published environmental data.

We are committed to reduce our GHG scopes 1and 2 emissions by 3,5% by year 2025 with respect to 2021 emissions.

Historical GHG Emissions (tCO2e) 2022 2021 2020 2019
Scope 1 29.609 33.668 29.525 38.984
Scope 2* Location Based 39.657 29.881 29.797 32.575
Total Scopes 1 & 2 GHG Emissions 69.266 63.549 59.322 71.559

* Includes direct heat scopes 2 emissions

Emission Intensity Ratio (EIR)

Emissions intensity ratios (EIR) are a useful way to define GHG emissions in an industry specific context as well as a way to track environmental performance with intensity ratios, often called normalized environmental impact data. GHG EIR express the amount of Scopes 1 and 2 GHG emissions per unit of activity, output, or any other organization-specific metric.

Emission Intensity Ratios* (EIR) 2022 2021 2020 2019
Manufacturing EIR (tCO2e/t) 0,24 0,23 0,25 0,25
Manufacturing Output (t) 285.868 277.781 233.160 282.833

In terms of emissions of ozone-depleting substances (ODS), we did not produce, imported, or exported of such substances. We carefully track other air emissions such as Nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), persistent organic pollutants (POPs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), particular matter (PM), and other air emissions identified and disclosed.
